You're Not Alone
Many grandparents grew up in a completely different world.
Children were expected to sit still, follow instructions and “behave.”
Today we’re learning that ADHD isn’t about laziness, bad behaviour or poor parenting.
It’s about understanding how a child’s brain works.
The more you understand ADHD, the easier it becomes to connect with your grandchild instead of feeling frustrated by them.

I couldn’t recommend it enough.
This course completely changed how I communicate in everyday life. Taking the ‘cheerleader and coach’ approach rather than just reacting has been fantastic. I feel excited to take what I’ve learned forward and parent from inspiration, not desperation.
Participant, Grandparents’ Group Course
My grandchild is like a different child, she actually likes school now!
The transformation in my grandchild since putting these tools into practice has been incredible. She feels understood, calmer, and is genuinely enjoying school for the first time.
Grandparent & Course Graduate
Gave me the confidence to advocate and collaborate effectively.
We were dealing with a school environment that completely dismissed neurodiversity as ‘just bad behaviour.’ After working through these strategies, I felt empowered to have an adult-to-adult conversation with the SENCo at the new school. Instead of fighting, we collaborated on a real plan to help keep my child thriving in mainstream education.
